Today, Jay Clayton was sworn in as the nation’s ninth Director of National Intelligence, following confirmation by the United States Senate last week. Director Clayton has previously served as United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York and Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Director Clayton has a distinguished private sector career, spanning law, business, and academia.
