The Lindsay Clancy saga

Human-written commentary
The Lindsay Clancy saga is direct proof that America needs to jettison the American left completely.
Lindsay Clancy’s murder of her three young children is one of the most horrifying crimes imaginable, yet much of society’s reaction has been nothing short of disgraceful. Instead of uniting in outrage over the deliberate killing of innocent children, countless voices—particularly among liberal commentators—have bent over backward to excuse her actions. This obsession with finding sympathy for the killer has dangerously eclipsed the only people who truly matter here: the three children whose lives she snuffed out.
These children were defenseless. They trusted their mother to love them, to care for them, and to keep them safe. She betrayed that sacred duty in the most irreversible way possible. They will never grow up, never laugh again, never experience the milestones of life. Yet in the public narrative, their names are already fading, replaced by endless handwringing about Lindsay Clancy’s personal struggles. That is an unforgivable distortion of priorities.
The fact that anyone is framing this as a story of sympathy for the murderer is a moral failure. Millions of parents endure exhaustion, stress, and the emotional strain of raising children without ever resorting to violence. Attempting to excuse calculated filicide under the umbrella of personal hardship is not compassion—it is a grotesque betrayal of the victims. When society celebrates or humanizes the killer, it diminishes the value of the lives taken and quietly suggests that their deaths were somehow understandable.
This cultural impulse to rationalize evil is dangerous. It erodes accountability, blurs moral lines, and leaves the most vulnerable—our children—unprotected. It turns reality upside down, treating perpetrators as victims and relegating actual victims to footnotes. The children cannot speak for themselves, and they rely on us to demand justice on their behalf. Instead, too many are offering excuses for the woman who murdered them.
There should be no celebration, no sympathy, and no moral gymnastics here. Lindsay Clancy coldly ended the lives of her three children, and society should confront that fact with unflinching outrage. Any narrative that centers her struggles while ignoring the children is a disgrace to their memory.
The focus must remain where it belongs: on the children, on the sanctity of their lives, and on the absolute necessity of justice. We honor them not by pitying the woman who killed them, but by rejecting every excuse, every rationalization, and every attempt to turn the murderer into a victim. Murder is murder, and the victims must always come first.
